Cleidi Hearn’s painting practice takes plants named in the Bible as a point of departure, attending to the sacred and cultural meanings they have carried across time.

The paintings invite sustained looking and open an encounter with meanings that may remain unseen in the ordinary life of an image.

A new body of work will be released in November 2026.
